Karité is a skincare brand founded by 3 sisters from Ghana, one of whom is a board-certified dermatologist.
For years, we searched for a natural skin moisturizer that compared to the raw, unrefined shea butter that we grew up using—to no avail.
With diverse backgrounds that include dermatology, marketing, and law, we set out to recreate the traditional formulation that we used for so many years. As a result, Karité was born.
