Rima holds an MBA from The Wharton School where she was a Dorm Room Fund Partner and CEO of StartU.

Rima is currently a Principal at Commerce Ventures where she focuses on investing in early-stage retail technology startups and commerce enablers. Prior to Commerce, she spent two years at XRC Labs, an NYC-based accelerator focused on investing in the same category. Rima previously held Strategy and Finance roles at Ralph Lauren and Marc Jacobs, and began her career in Equity Research at Goldman Sachs, where she covered the consumer staples sector.

She earned her undergraduate degree from Barrett, The Honors College at Arizona State University where she studied Finance and Economics. She also holds a degree in Fashion Marketing from Parsons School of Design.
