Julia Perez is a New York-born, Miami-based marketing executive with deep experience in high-growth, healthier-for-you food and beverage startups. As a fitness and wellness enthusiast, Julia truly “lives the brand” as the Chief Marketing Officer at OWYN – Only What You Need, a plant-based nutrition company best known for its ready-to-drink protein shakes. Prior to joining OWYN, Julia held both in-house and agency positions working on behalf of brands such as Red Bull, Hain Celestial, RSP Nutrition, and CORE Water, where she was the first digital hire of the premium water brand that scaled to one of beverage’s most impressive acquisitions ($535M by Keurig Dr. Pepper) to date. Most recently, Julia has been instrumental in OWYN's successful exit to Simply Good, which was finalized this summer for $280M.
