Andrew Silberstein, Co-Founder, and CEO of SolaWave, used his extensive background in technology and digital marketing (more below) to successfully bring the power of the dermatologist's office directly to the consumer in a way the skincare industry has never seen before.

From running a multi-venue snack business at the age of 8, a party catering company at 12, to online marketing and web design agency that developed digital strategies for clients such as Rihanna, Ludacris, and Ne-Yo - Andrew Silberstein developed a knack for filling voids in the market at a young age. While attending USC (where he majored in business administration and entrepreneurship), he combined his passions for music and technology to conceive Boomrat, a digital platform for discovering electronic music artists and events. Two years later, Boomrat was acquired by Live Nation, which allowed Andrew to launch a series of new ventures in the CPG and beauty industries.

SolaWave was born! SolaWave is an LGBTQ+-owned, beauty device brand that creates proven skincare solutions so that every person can feel great about their skin without breaking the bank. Their first device, the Red Light Therapy Wand ($149) was released in September 2020, and the Blue Light Therapy Wand ($119) was launched in September 2021.
