Alex is the Founder and Managing Partner of Melitas Ventures, a leading venture capital fund that invests in innovative, early-stage consumer companies, focusing on better-for-you companies in the food & beverage and personal care ecosystems.

He serves on the boards of: Abbot's Butcher, Dose, Dream Pops, MUD\WTR, Lemon Perfect, Nurture Life and Elements. Alex was previously a senior member of the investment teams at Tyrian Investments (seeded by Tiger Management) and Indus Capital (former Soros partners), where he invested in global consumer companies.

He began his career at Morgan Stanley's New York and London offices. Alex received a MBA from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania and a BA from Stanford University.
