Mama Sol is the brainchild of Arielle and Tahlia, two mamas who quickly bonded over the lack of safe and effective natural sunscreens out there. While pregnant with her first child and hyper-focused on using the cleanest and most safe ingredients for all her personal care products, Arielle tried countless mineral sunscreens. None of them worked for her and she was left disappointed by the heavy, sticky feel, lingering white cast, and unpleasant scent. Arielle was determined to create one that she looked forward to using every day, something truly different that had never been seen before. Together with the expertise and guidance of Arielle’s own mama, Dr. Sheri Rowen, MD, an internationally recognized ophthalmologist and cosmetic laser surgeon, Arielle and Tahlia focused on creating a better, clean formula and Mother Earth-friendly product to stand out in one of the most toxic skincare categories.
